Kanaby Hits a Void

While pleasant, the job of demolishing a wall brick by brick can be tedious. Accustomed to repetitive tasks, Kanaby was in auto-pilot mode when he struck what felt like a void in the wall. He put down his mechanical chipper and grabbed his hammer; something inside of him told him that this part of the job required even more precision.

Kanaby hit the wall once more, and little pieces fell to the ground. Then, he heard what he thought to be glass. The construction worker veteran was puzzled. In all of his years of experience, he’d never found something this strange.
