As we said, Charles and his grandmother, the Queen Mother, were so close that they spent a lot of time together. Some even say that the prince got his sense of humor from her, so seeing them spending a lot of time together isn’t shocking.

Here they were playing in a playhouse called The Little House near the Royal Lodge in Windsor in 1954. Gareth Russell, a biographer, even told People Magazine that the Queen Mother encouraged Charles when he was a boy.
