Ted Danson – Started At Age 35
Before playing Sam Malone on “Cheers” in 1982, Danson spent the ’70s and early ’80s hopping between soap operas and commercials. It all paid off since the Emmys acknowledged his acting throughout the NBC sitcom’s eleven-year run, winning twice.
Since then, Ted has proven himself as a supporting character in beloved shows like “The Good Place.” In 2021, he played the lead role of Neil Bremer in “Mr. Mayor,” an NBC show co-created by Tina Fey.
