Ricky Gervais – Started At Age 40
Before co-creating, co-writing, and acting in the British TV sitcom “The Office” at age 40, Ricky Gervais wanted to be a pop sensation. Starting in 2001, the English rendition of “The Office” aired jointly with “Meet Ricky Gervais,” his chat show.
Before all that, though, Ricky maintained a radio career, performed sketch comedy, and sang in the pop duet Seona Dancing, which became somewhat famous. As of 2023, he has presented at the Golden Globes five times!
