Octavia Spencer – Started At Age 39
From 2002’s “Spider-Man” to 2008’s “Seven Pounds,” Octavia Spencer has consistently delivered outstanding performances on screen. Her success was further enriched by her role in “The Help,” for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2011.
Following that, Octavia received two more Oscar nods. In fact, she’s the first black actress to get two consecutive Academy Award nominations in back-to-back years. Among them was her nomination for 2016’s “Hidden Figures.”
