The Heat Marks the Spot
The idea behind Glover running a thermal imaging scan was to find the specific spot where the hive is. Typically, a small red area shows the exact position and entry point of the hive. But in this instance, the whole house glowed red.
This was especially strange since once at the hive, bees don’t really move around outside it. Even when foraging for food, they’ll easily find it far away, but struggle to find food close to the hive. This didn’t make sense to Glover, and also made it difficult for him to pinpoint an entry point for the bees.
