Sean Connery Braves a Real-life Lazer
Did you know that the iconic laser scene in Goldfinger was more than just movie magic? They went all out to capture the moment using the real deal. And surprisingly enough, a crew member hidden under the table, wielding an acetylene torch, actually cut through the table from below.
No wonder Sean Connery’s expression looked genuinely nervous. Interestingly, the machine’s actual blue beam didn’t appear in the final edit; instead, they opted for the orange laser beam using special effects in post-production.
