Miniature Magic of the Epic Vehicle Shots

Behind the scenes of the 1991 hit movie “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”, a crew of meticulous maestros delicately positions miniature vehicles for an epic shoot. These little rides may not be viable to hit the open road, but they look every bit like the real deal.

This film crew expertly used such out-of-this-world rear projection techniques to capture several scenes. And to create realistic light movement, stunt master Bobby Gray even developed a draping rig with lights on a circular track.
