This is one of the moments where we blame the brain, not the person. One might perceive the importance of finishing the task and intend to go over it, but the brain might scream otherwise.

Dixon Life Coaching shared an experience of one person who had to work on her paper and restart repeatedly. What worked well was specifically creating an entry point to the task, which was, in this case, opening the document.
