A Child Prodigy
Growing up in Cypress, California, Tiger’s affinity for golf bloomed during his formative years. Astonishingly, even as a six-month-old infant, he mimicked his father’s swing after observing him strike golf balls into a net. Tiger’s parents revealed that he toyed with a putter before taking his first steps!
Fortuitously, Earl, an esteemed member of the U.S. Army, enjoyed playing privileges at the Navy golf course adjacent to the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, allowing young Tiger to indulge in his passion on those hallowed greens.
