Luckily, it wasn’t too hard for the institution to find someone willing to look for the descendants of Hanly and Lennon. The lineage researcher Lorraine Arnold wasn’t only a New Jersey native but also a former student at the campus. She volunteered to help Kanaby and the others in their search.
Her job, however, wasn’t as simple as checking the census data and looking for a name. While she did her very best, she was unable to find any descendants of the two bricklayers. The beer bottle, as it seemed, wholly belonged to Montclair State University.
