Flying As Another Skill

Many of the royal family members know how to fly, including Prince Charles. However, he ultimately gave up this hobby in the ’90s. In 1994, he was piloting a plane when he faced a dangerous situation. Due to high winds and a tricky landing, the plane’s tire burst, causing it to overshoot the runway and crash.

Luckily, no one was injured, but the accident resulted in the plane sustaining damages worth more than $1 million. Still, it is cool that his sons followed suit: Princes Harry and William also know how to operate a plane.
