A STRANGE SIGHT
Everyone knows that circling vultures is hardly ever a good omen. In fact, in various cultures, it signifies danger or bad luck. So, when residents of Greensboro, North Carolina, noticed a committee of vultures over a house, they were understandably concerned.
On closer inspection, they came across a dog in its kennel. What was more concerning was that Lilo, the pit bull, was chained to a tree. And the vultures they’d seen were surrounding the poor dog. From every indication, the scavengers were expecting Lilo’s demise.
