Drama Upon His Return
With the wheels set in motion for his plan to return, all he had to do was pack up at the place he was staying and go back to the old apartment. He still had his keys, so he moved back in unannounced.
He could easily have caught the place empty, and it wouldn’t have been less dramatic, but he walked in while the couple was enjoying a romantic breakfast. Things were already awkward. Now there was drama coming fast.
