Needless To Say, People Were Angry
The guy felt a sense of accomplishment when he walked in on them. Even the stunned reaction that evolved into anger made him feel a sense of accomplishment. He was essentially reveling in it. He definitely threw his weight around.
He used the apartment shower and even had his lunch there, burritos he offered to share with them. The guy was being very polite to them and even asked them how their day was. It was his apartment, after all.
