A Book Reading Punishment

Ideally, when students are late at Lincoln Elementary, the school policy mandates that such students have to do make-up work to cover their missed assignments. But in Hunter’s case, he was only late for a few minutes and didn’t have anything pending tasks to make up.

But that wasn’t enough for the teachers to let the 6-year-old boy off the hook, so they still found something for him to do by asking him to read some textbooks alone at lunch.
