An Unplanned Addition

The caseworker called him to narrate a familiar story. There was a four-day-old girl at the same place where Grayson had been born, and the child required urgent placement. Like Grayson, the girl had been exposed to drugs before birth.

Katie thought that she was not ready to share her love for Grayson with another kid at some point. But one day she would have to because her heart was moved by the abandoned child. Keeping in view the fragile condition of the girl, she eventually said, “yes.”
