Grayson Was Not Well

Grayson’s mother had been taking drugs when he was in the womb. Though the child never showed any signs of withdrawal, he was still physically weak. Katie wanted to adopt more kids, but before that, she wanted to give all of her attention to Grayson.

She used to get occasional calls about short-term placements but was not mentally prepared. However, she did not know what was approaching, and she received a call from her caseworker two weeks after she adopted Grayson.
