Helen Shapiro – Age 76

Helen Shapiro, the British singer/actress, first achieved fame in 1961 when she was just 14 years old for her chart-topping song, “You Don’t Know.” Her success did not end there, as she went on to take on acting roles, most notably appearing in the 1986 TV series “Albion Market.”

Even now, Shapiro continues to perform live, taking but a 2002 hiatus during her career. In 2021, Far Out magazine published an article about “From Me To You,” a song composed for Helen Shapiro by “The Beatles.”
