Samuel L. Jackson – Started At Age 46
After spending two years in Los Angeles as a social worker during the early ’70s, Samuel L. Jackson studied acting in Morehouse, inspired by a Negro Ensemble Company production. His career in theatre and film was making only modest progress.
It wasn’t until Samuel started working with filmmaker Spike Lee that he began his climb to stardom, doing “Do the Right Thing” at 40. Years later, he would become a star with “Pulp Fiction” (1994).
