Melissa McCarthy – Started At Age 41
When she portrayed the Oscar-nominated role of Megan in “Bridesmaids,” Melissa Mccarthy was already 41. Before her performances in this 2011 film and CBS’s “Mike & Molly,” which won her an Emmy, McCarthy had decades of lesser television and movie roles.
On TV, Melissa first gained a level of fame with her role on “Gilmore Girls.” She played the character of Sookie St. James from 2000 to 2007.
