Sylvester Stallone – Started At Age 30
Believe it or not, Sylvester Stallone was a struggling actor/writer in the ’70s who couldn’t afford his rent and slept wherever he could. While auditioning for roles, he worked as a movie theater usher, even scrubbing lion cages at the zoo on the side.
Sylvester wrote the “Rocky” screenplay in three and a half days after watching the 1975 championship fight between Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner. The following year, he appeared in “Rocky 1” at 30.
