A Multi-Ethnic Family
Some adopting parents are very demanding; Caucasian families, for instance, often refuse to receive non-Caucasian children. The Halberts, however, believed that one’s value comes from the inside, not the outside. While they were both Caucasian, they were excited about the possibility of having a multi-ethnic family.
