Doing the Honorable Thing

When one believes in something, one sees the entire world in a different light. That universal truth applied to the Halberts, who felt like it would be disrespectful to give birth to a baby in a world where so many children are without parents. In a frank conversation, they decided that adoption was the best option for them.

Ambitiously, they filed the adoption forms, looking to adopt not one but two children! They weren’t particular either: in their application, they said they were ready to receive any children.
