Waiting for 12 Years
Enlightened by their Evangelical beliefs, Aaron and Rachel made yet another radical decision. “Why have a third child,” they thought, “When can we have two more?” Instead of being fertilized with just one embryo, Rachel was determined to get two. The doctors at the National Embryo Donation Center were delighted.
Shortly after, the Halberts got to “meet” the twin embryos that would soon be their third and fourth children. Funnily enough, they were African-American embryos that had been frozen for a whopping 12 years.
