Say Hello to the Heirs
The birth of twins Gabriella Thérèse Marie Grimaldi and Jacques Honoré Rainier Grimaldi was celebrated with 42 ceremonial cannon shots on December 10, 2014, 21 for each child. Despite being born two minutes prior, Gabriella would see her younger brother Jacques become the heir to the throne.
Prince Albert waited till their birth to discover his children’s gender. He also expressed his happiness and anticipation for the twins to continue the Grimaldi legacy.
