Some roles in films are more interesting to play than the main ones. When English-born Serena Scott Thomas landed her role as Dr. Molly Warmflash in the James Bond film “The World is Not Enough,” she was determined to make an impression, and she did.
Serena doubled as an MI6 agent assigned to examine James and tasked with explaining a complex medical situation. She pulled it off superbly, and even with two other Bond girls in the film, her standout performance was more than we had expected of her.
