Maryam d’Abo
Like many aspiring actors and actresses, Maryam d’Abo had a dream to appear on the big screen, and she did it in style. After landing several roles in low-budget films, she finally made her big break in the 1987 James Bond thriller “The Living Daylights.”
Martyam portrayed the character of Kara Milovy, James’ love interest and ex-girlfriend of an army general who tries to manipulate the British government. Her attachment to the James Bond franchise grew with her involvement in a Bond-themed Playboy cover and co-writing the book “Bond Girls Are Forever.”
