THE FAKE NEWS PANDEMIC IS GETTING WORSE
With the rise of the internet, access to information has become more readily available. However, determining the legitimacy of the data can be challenging. People may feel inclined to believe what they hear when it’s coming from major news outlets worldwide. But a shocking statistic shows that 44% of information released by global news organizations is incorrect.
Consequently, Americans are skeptical of the media. Only 7% of US adults have a great deal of confidence in news reporting from newspapers, television, and radio, while 34% have none at all.
