It wasn’t uncommon for Dasha’s guests to wonder if the cat was from Chernobyl because Simina grew into such an odd-looking creature. This was, of course, the famous city that was abandoned after a nuclear accident took place at the same plant in 1986 that gave its name to the city.
In contrast, if I were to ask the truth, does Simina look like a mutated animal that lived on the site of a nuclear disaster so catastrophically that guests in Dasha’s home believed that Simina was a mutated animal? Little we know. But here’s what happens next…
