In Steven Spielberg’s oceanic 1975 masterpiece, “Jaws,” the legendary director fearlessly dove into the mouth of the beast. With a mischievous grin, we see him caught between the jaws of Bruce, the animatronic marvel crafted exclusively for the film.

This film became the first Hollywood production to be shot on the ocean. Although Steven reportedly hesitated to make it, thinking it would ruin his directing career, he still started the shoot without a script, shark, or cast.
