Is that a Hand Basin?

This product, named Water Map, can be used as a hand basin or a kitchen sink. The basin, made of plywood and veneer, is in the form of a topographic map and ducts have been made in the form of river channels for the water to flow.

The pattern resembles a maze and reminds us of Central London streets. However, just think of what can grow in those crevices since cleaning them looks impossible. Damp wood wouldn’t be good for health after all.
