Blindsided
The waitress at the pizza shop had done something no one could have anticipated. She had courageously left a note at their table without fear. This was quite disrespectful, but there must have been a good reason why the woman did this.
Luckily, Jackie caught her husband reading the note, so it didn’t seem likely that he’d deny it. There was no way she’d let such an action slide either, and the lady demanded an explanation from her husband. Nevertheless, nothing could have prepared the mother of three for what was written on the note. It was so unprecedented Jackie didn’t know how to react.
