Locks can turn rusty and difficult to operate after several years of use, but it would not be practical or cheap to replace them every time that happens, so we’re stuck with harder-to-use padlocks. Lucky for us, there’s an ingenious way we can fix up these old tools.

The oily balm works great as a lubricant for rusty locks, just place a dollop on the key and slowly insert it into the keyhole, turning it as we go. The ointment will help dislodge the rust and have it working smoothly in no time.
