Scary Rabbits From Russia
Alena Beljakov, a Russian photographer, has given a unique take on rabbits with her series, Meet the Rabbitsons. Her photographs often feature nine people wearing bunny masks, and the most impressive thing is that she began the project at the age of 19.
The images can be seen in both full color, with sepia overtones, and in black and white. Despite being typically seen as a symbol of fertility or rebirth, Beljakov’s work flips the idea of rabbits as cute and cuddly animals on its head.
