Fate Had Other Plans for Tiger Woods

Tiger chose the revered Augusta National, a tournament he had dominantly conquered four times before, as his comeback vehicle. However, it was Phil Mickelson who claimed victory. Woods ultimately secured a fourth-place finish. Alas, the remainder of 2010 and early 2011 proved woeful for Tiger.

Another glimmer of hope emerged at the Masters, where he clinched fourth once more. However, injuries forced him to skip both the United States Open and the British Open. A fleeting comeback occurred in August 2011 at the World Golf Championship-Bridgestone, but Woods settled for a modest 37th place.
