James Cameron: ~ $700 Million

Canadian filmmaker and environmentalist James Cameron of The Terminator, Titanic and Avatar fame, is known to be difficult to work with, and spends a lot of time getting little details right. It is this trait of his that has made him worth approximately $700 million! His movies always have a big budget and make huge profits at the box office, in fact, Avatar and Titanic are the second and third highest grossing movies ever made! The Oscar-winning director also has an expensive hobby, exploring the oceans and the world’s deepest trench, Mariana Trench using the Deepsea Challenger submersible vehicle. He even set a record by deep-diving 7 miles inside the trench!
