Singer Ricky Nelson was a legendary singer-songwriter, actor, pop and rock and roll icon who has been working in the entrainment industry since the age of 8. But he would go on to become a ‘teen idol’ in the ‘50s and starred alongside stars like Dean Martin and John Wayne. The ‘Poor Little Fool’ wasn’t poor at all, in his times. Sadly, Ricky passed away in 1985 in a plane crash and at the time of his death he was worth $4.8 million, which would have increased many times now, had he survived that fateful crash.
