Contrary to what movies and TV shows depict, being a flight attendant is not all fun and games. In reality, it may be one of the least glamorous jobs today. While some people imagine traveling to incredible destinations and having long layovers, the job entails more than that.
Flight attendants must cope with early mornings, irregular work hours, late nights, and jet lag. They must play multiple roles, such as a firefighter, nurse, police officer, psychologist, personality handlers, etc.
