Cabin crew get extensive advanced first aid and aviation medical training and must demonstrate competence with annual examinations. They know how to administer CPR and utilize a defibrillator. The health impacts of flight, oxygen consumption, and other aspects of travel are being investigated.
Childbirth, fractures, wounds, heart diseases, and a wide variety of other medical emergencies are all included. However, they cannot handle each and every medical emergencies that may occur on board. Thus protocols should be in place.
