Is it okay for passengers to tip flight attendants? You might know practically all airlines prevent cabin workers from collecting tips. Some airlines discourage flight attendants from taking when initially offered, but if the passenger constantly offers, crew members are authorized to accept a gratuity.

Although many airlines frown upon this to avoid prejudice in an emergency or some passengers getting more favor than others, a box of cookies, gift cards, or even a simple “thank you” hurts nobody.
