A single mother and her daughter lived in a busy neighborhood. They made do with what they could afford, as the woman in question worked full-time as a waitress. That notwithstanding, she couldn’t help but reconsider when this cute kitten appeared.
Considering the cat population of China is well over 53 million, coming across a kitten is common. But there was something about this one that caught the eye. Not only was it helpless, as should be the case for newborns, but it was an even hue of black.
