Finding Hanly and Lennon

Finding William Hanly was relatively easy, and he showed up as a 33-year-old man residing in Central Avenue, Newark in the 1920 census. Tracking James Lennon took Kanaby a bit longer, but he managed to find him in the 1930 census, listed as a Newark man who had been born around 1875.

These findings impacted everybody involved with the College Hall renovations at Montclair State University, but Kanaby in particular. As a construction worker, he knew how rare it was for people like him to get recognized for their work.
