Vegan Fast Food Options
It’s no secret that veganism is on the rise, and considering nearly 20 million United States residents are vegans, restaurants are taking notice. From Burger King’s Impossible Whopper to McDonald’s McVegan, plant-based foods are all the rage. But not every menu addition hits the mark.
Take KFC’s cauliflower and kale burger, for example. Katy tweeted that it resembled the infamous Krabby Patty that nearly killed a health inspector. While it’s healthy, restaurants still have a long way to go in terms of presentation.
