Many people turn to social media for advice, and sometimes it works like a charm. But there’s always one joker in the pack. Take, for instance, the person who recommended that any electrician who’s still alive is qualified.

Well, it might seem funny, but according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, electricians have a mortality rate of 8.3 per 100,000 workers yearly due to being electrocuted. No buzzkill intended, but when it comes to electricity, safety is no joke.
