Scorching Parliamentary Insults
Who says politicians are boring? In 1949, one New Zealand MP proved that politics could be a contact sport. During a heated debate in Parliament, this politician dropped a sizzling insult that left the target speechless.

A similar event did take place in the same parliament in 2022. But this time, Prime Minister Jacinda Arden was the one giving the verbal smackdown. It was penned as unparliamentary language, but if parliamentary rules allowed for a mic drop, this would be it.
