Parents always tell their kids the truth about fashion, right? Not necessarily. However, studies show that only 50% of parents are completely honest with their kids about sensitive topics.

Take, for example, the case of the guy who posted a photo of his facial hair on Facebook. His mom joked that he needed to shave or be locked out of the house. Her heart was in the right place, as she didn’t want her son to become a fashion victim.
