When The Job Makes Ryan Forget He’s a Father
Ryan voiced the character and facial motion picture of ‘Pikachu’ in the mystery movie “Detective Pikachu.” However, in a promotional video, he shared how he spent an entire year living and breathing his character.
Once he was informed that he’d gotten the role, Ryan decided not to pick his daughters up from school because ‘Detective Pikachu’ has no kids. Turns out he was so focused on trying to make the character come alive that he soon forgot his real-life responsibilities.
