The Driver Is a Police Officer Too!
The driver’s previous experience had come from serving in law regulation. He was a police officer with a long and proud history of serving on the force for 29 years.
The driver did not want the officer to let him off the hook; he just wanted to solve the problem that had landed him in trouble. He also did not want any special treatment or leniency with his ticket. As an officer now in retirement, he understood that laws protect drivers and passengers.
