Paying the Fine for the Crime

According to the law, citizens can not tint a vehicle’s windshield and front windows in any form. But any level of tint can be applied for the back side-view windows and the rearview window, provided it’s not metallic or reflective.

Violating these rules can lead to a ticket. Sometimes, the authorities let off offenders with a stern warning. But not every officer is in a forgiving mood. For first-time offenders, fines can be up to $1000. For the second time or more, it can be up to $5000.
